The new Gringo is the most versatile helmet ever designed by Urge bp. We even considered calling it "Greengo," since it's made from 80% recycled materials. Minimizing our impact on the planet remains a core principle for our brand.
It is aimed at the heart of mountain biking, a true All Mountain.
The Gringo comes in two categories, from the Sierra and from the Pampa.
Still modular in either version, but we figured that Monsieur de la Pampa will most often ride without removing his chin guard, so we equipped it with maximum ventilation in the full-face version.
Mr. de la Sierra likes to ride open-face and put his chin guard back on for the descent; he'll probably prefer this option with the grille for added protection. Ultimately, aesthetics will also be a deciding factor—with or without the grille, it's up to you to decide which you prefer. Are you more of a goggle or mask person? Its design perfectly accommodates both.
The Gringo is extremely well ventilated with or without the chin bar, regardless. And it's just as comfortable as we want all our helmets to be, because we aim for and envision you enjoying long, enjoyable days of riding.
